APPROVAL OF EXPULSION CASE NO. 15-166
Description
The student listed in Expulsion Case No. 15-166 is in violation of an accepted settlement agreement for Alternative School Placement due to non-attendance. On November 12, 2014 the student violated School Board Policy 5.30 Possession of Weapons and 5.30 Possession of Drugs &/or Paraphernalia. It is the recommendation of the Superintendent that the student be expelled from Sarasota County Schools until June 2, 2015.
Recommendation
That in accordance with provisions of Sections 1006.07(1)(a)(b), Florida Statues and School Board Policy 5.34, the holding of a hearing having been waived by the student/parent, the recommendation as specified in Expulsion Case No. 15-166, to expel the student referenced therein from the Sarasota County Schools, be approved effective immediately until June 2, 2015.
